Welcome to the SUA Women In Philanthropy Initiative (affectionately known as "WIPI"). A few months ago we were inspired when we heard from a distinguished speaker, Angela E. White, CFRE, from the Women In Philanthropy Institute, Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. Her message has reinforced our mission to continue to empower SUA graduates to use their Values, Vision & Voice to create change and transformation for others and to celebrate the growing role of women in philanthropy.

“Identifying your passion is the first step in determining where you will invest your precious resources of time, talent, and treasure. As women, it is powerful to define the intersection of our personal values and societal needs and to assess if our current philanthropic giving matches our values.

As a result, we are able to make our voices heard through philanthropy and to create a personal philanthropic legacy that will continue to impact society long into the future. Our time together will focus on exploring this intersection of values and philanthropy and how to envision a better world through the power of women’s individual and collective philanthropy.”

St. Ursula Academy is looking for alumnae, parents, and members of the community-at-large who would be interested in being part of our school's Speakers Bureau and Resource Center.  Those interested would have the opportunity to come back to SUA to share their stories and experiences with classroom teachers, clubs, Christian service and campus ministry groups, and the student body.  Please share your gifts and talents with your alma mater.
