Sister Kathleen Padden was nominated and will receive the Diocese of Toledo Centenary Award for Outstanding Service given by the Bishop because of Sister Kathleen’s exceptional contribution to the life and success of St. Ursula Academy. Sister Kathleen began her ministry at St. Ursula Academy beginning in 1959 as an outstanding teacher, later became the assistant principal in 1967 followed by becoming the principal in 1970 and lastly held the role of president from 1992-02. Sister Kathleen continues to be respected highly by both diocesan and civic leaders.
