Host Your Own Commitment to Values Event
Explore and celebrate the power of women’s philanthropy by hosting a SUA Commitment to Values Event. Near or far, SUA alumnae are joining together to raise money to support the SUA $1 million Commitment to Values Alumnae Campaign goal. Through social events and formal networking SUA alumnae across the country are re-connecting with a united cause – the value of a SUA education.

What can I do?
The sky is the limit! Be creative. We have alumnae doing everything from cocktail parties, luncheons, weekend retreats to art openings, fashion shows and good old fashioned “Mom’s Night Out”! Consider what you’re passionate about, what your class and generation may be interested in doing, and run with it!

Let Michelle know your plans…event date, guest list, and contact information and we’ll post it to our website and in our Women In Philanthropy Initiative (WIPI) promotional materials.

· Ask Michelle for a sample event agenda. We can also provide you with a stimulating Values, Vision and Voice exercise to explore one’s personal alignment between values and philanthropy. Make your event fun and meaningful!
· Request a guest speaker (virtual or real). Want to hear what’s going on today at St. Ursula? Maybe from the perspective of a student or one of our leadership team members? We’d love to share our history, current facts and figures and our important vision for tomorrow. While each situation is different, we can be there live or via a great DVD presentation.
Promote the Vision.
Prior to your event, we’ll be sure to send you a supply of our Commitment to Values campaign literature. Our brochure tells a beautiful story of SUA’s history and the compelling call to action for continued financial support today. Giving is not required, but “the power of the purse” is appreciated!
Celebrate Success!
Once your event has concluded, share your pictures, testimony and results with us! We’d love to include them on our Women In Philanthropy Initiative website … who knows what your experience will inspire for someone else?
